Prayer of Impossible

Lord,

grant me peace and strength:

so that I may look at the world with eyes full of love.

Help me to be patient, understanding, kind and wise,

and see others beyond their outward appearance,

as you see them, so that i may find goodness in everyone.

Close my ears to all slander, control my tongue from vicious gossip,

let thoughts of blessing rule my mind.

May I be so good and so joyful as to make your presence felt

to all those who come near me.

Lord, enwrap me with your goodness so that I may show it at all times!
